John Szekeres
MCC/Drives Product Manager
John Szekeres has been with Gerrie since July 2000 and is a graduate of Niagara College – Electronics Engineering Technology Program. John has held various roles in Technical Sales and has been Product Manager for Allen-Bradley Variable Frequency Drives since early 2006. In 2011 he added the Motor Control Centers to his portfolio in the Power Products and Solutions that we offer.
He has been involved with and executed management of many large scale projects working with OEMs, Integrators and End User customers.

Louise Elgersma
MCC Specialist
With an Industrial Electrician Diploma from Mohawk College, Louise has over 20 years of experience in Electrical Integration and Project Management for the Ontario Manufacturing Industry.
She specializes in quoting Allen-Bradley Motor Control Centers for the steel, food beverage, and other sectors. Louise is extremely detail-oriented and a highly valued member of the Gerrie team. She looks forward to working with you on your project needs.
Austin Melhado
Drives/MCC Product Specialist
As an Electrical Engineering Technology Graduate from Mohawk College, Austin Melhado started his career at Gerrie Electric in the Automation Group as an Inside Sales and Technical Support member. He excelled at this role and was offered an opportunity to be the first Canadian Distributor to attend the Rockwell Automation Engineering 6-month Training Program (EIT).
Driven by his passion and interest in power and VFD’s, Austin continues his automation journey and lends his experience to his Drives and MCC Specialist role.
