What you will be doing

As a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting Gerrie’s strategic accounts by managing on-site inventory, executing conversions, maintaining vending solutions, and ensuring seamless replenishment processes. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver value-added service, drive operational efficiency, and strengthen long-term relationships.

Implement and maintain VMI programs at customer sites, including bin setup, stock replenishment, and vending equipment support.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customer personnel to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Verify incoming shipments, resolve discrepancies, and manage returns as needed.

Monitor stock levels, generate replenishment orders, and obtain customer approvals when required.

Maintain clean and organized inventory areas following 5S principles.

Troubleshoot and maintain vending equipment, including setup and basic repairs.

Use Gerrie’s technology platforms for order entry, tracking, and reporting.

Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and customer success.

Participate in customer site surveys, conversions, and special projects as assigned.

What you bring to the table

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and travel daily within the assigned region.

Preferred experience in supply chain, inventory management, or customer service.

Preferred familiarity with handheld scanning devices and labeling equipment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory/order management systems.
