The S4 Copper Split Bolt Connector is a two-conductor mechanical connector used for joining copper conductors in electrical power, grounding, and bonding systems. It is manufactured from a high-strength copper alloy that helps resist corrosion and season cracking, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.

The connector is designed for equal run and tap conductor sizes from 8 AWG to 4 AWG. Its true hex head design allows installation using standard sockets, box wrenches, open-end wrenches, or a torque wrench. When properly tightened, the design creates high contact pressure between conductors to help maintain a secure electrical connection.
