Techspan® S3/0 | Copper Split Bolt Connector for Two Conductors, 2 Sol-3/0 AWG

The S3/0 copper split bolt connector is designed to join two conductors in electrical power, grounding, and bonding systems. It is manufactured from a high-strength copper alloy that resists corrosion and season cracking, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.

This connector is approved for electrical power distribution, grounding, bonding, and direct burial applications. It can be used with a wide range of copper conductors, including solid, compact, compressed, concentric, copperweld conductors, and rebar connections. The Type S design is intended for connecting two conductors in power applications or conductor-to-conductor and conductor-to-rebar connections in grounding systems.

The true hex body design allows installation using standard sockets, torque wrenches, box wrenches, or open-end wrenches. When properly torqued, the connector creates high contact pressure for a reliable electrical connection. The pressure bar design helps improve pull-out resistance and connection security across various conductor combinations.
