Techspan® S2/0 | Copper Split Bolt Connector for Two Conductors, 2 AWG–2/0 AWG

The S2/0 copper split bolt connector is designed for connecting two conductors in electrical power, grounding, and bonding applications. It can also be used for conductor-to-rebar connections in direct burial applications in earth or concrete.

It is made from high-strength copper alloy for corrosion resistance and long service life. The connector is suitable for copper solid, compact, compressed, concentric, copperweld conductors, and rebar. Its wide wire range makes it useful for many field installation needs.

The true hex design allows installation with standard tools, including a torque wrench, socket, box wrench, or open-end wrench. When tightened to the correct torque, it creates high contact pressure between the conductors. The pressure bar design helps reduce pull-out risk and provides a secure connection across different conductor combinations.

This split bolt connector is rated for copper conductors up to 600 V and 90°C. It is UL Listed, CSA Certified, RoHS compliant, and RUS accepted. It is also approved for grounding, bonding, and direct burial applications.

Typical uses include electrical power connections, grounding and bonding work, conductor splicing, rebar grounding connections, and direct burial installations where a reliable copper split bolt connection is required.
