The S2 copper split bolt connector is a heavy-duty connector designed for joining two conductors in electrical power, grounding, bonding, and direct burial installations. It is manufactured from a high-strength copper alloy that resists corrosion and season cracking, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.

The true hex head design allows installation using standard sockets, torque wrenches, box wrenches, or open-end wrenches. When properly torqued, the connector creates high contact pressure between conductors to help maintain a reliable electrical connection. The pressure bar design improves conductor retention and helps reduce pull-out under load.

This split bolt connector supports a wide range of copper conductors, including solid, compact, compressed, concentric, and copperweld conductors.
