The IISRB500 Aluminum Black Pre-Insulated Splicer/Reducer is designed for joining or reducing conductor sizes in power distribution and electrical wiring applications. It is manufactured from high-strength aluminum alloy and is dual-rated for use with both aluminum and copper conductors.

The connector comes factory insulated with clear, high-dielectric-strength plastisol insulation and features UV-resistant black insulation for added durability. It is pre-filled with oxide inhibitor to help reduce oxidation and protect the contact area from moisture and contaminants.
