- Manufacturer Name :Techspan Industries
- Range of Equal Run & Tap :3/0 Str. - 4/0 Str.
Technical Specifications
The CCT4020 Copper C-Tap is used to create tap or parallel connections between copper conductors. It is built for electrical and grounding applications where a strong, reliable crimp connection is required.
This connector is made from a high-conductivity copper alloy. The heavy-wall design helps keep the joint stable after installation and reduces the chance of relaxation at the connection point. Its “C” shape makes installation faster and easier when working with compatible stranded copper conductors.
The CCT4020 accepts a 3/0 AWG to 4/0 AWG stranded copper run conductor and a 1/0 AWG to 2/0 AWG stranded copper tap conductor. It requires one crimp and uses die index D3. The listed Penn Union tool is TPU-12B. The required wire strip length is 13/16 in.
This copper C-Tap is CSA listed for electrical and grounding use, cUL listed, RoHS compliant, and RUS accepted. It is suitable for contractors, utility installers, and electrical professionals working on copper conductor splicing, grounding, and parallel connection jobs.
