The CCT44 Copper C-Tap connector is designed for tap and parallel splicing applications in copper conductor systems. Its compact C-shaped design allows for efficient installation while providing a reliable electrical connection between run and tap conductors.

Manufactured from a high-conductivity copper alloy, this connector helps maintain electrical performance and conductivity across the connection point. The heavy-wall construction adds strength to the crimped joint and helps prevent connection relaxation over time.

Key features:

  • High-conductivity copper alloy construction
  • Designed for copper-to-copper tap and parallel connections
  • C-shaped body for faster installation
  • Heavy-wall design for improved joint integrity
  • Single-crimp installation
  • RoHS compliant
  • CSA Listed for electrical and grounding applications
  • cUL Listed
  • RUS Accepted

Technical specifications support run conductor sizes from 6 AWG solid to 4 AWG stranded, with tap conductor sizes from 4 AWG solid to 4 AWG stranded. The connector uses die index BG and requires the Penn Union TPU-12B crimping tool. A wire strip length of 3/4 inch is required for proper installation.

Typical applications include electrical distribution systems, grounding connections, control panels, industrial equipment, and general power wiring installations where dependable copper conductor taps or parallel splices are required.
