Gerrie raises $75,000 in support of Canadian Diabetes
For Gerrie Electric Wholesale Limited’s 50th Anniversary on September 30, 2007, we pledged to raise $50,000 in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association over the course of a year through fundraising events at each of our branches. We are proud to announce we have exceeded that goal and recently presented a cheque in the amount of $75,000 to Kerry Bruder, Regional Director & Bill Gregory, Fun Development Volunteer of the Canadian Diabetes Association!

Also noteworthy, as a result of Gerrie’s fundraising efforts over the years, our leader Ken Gerrie was recognized by the Central South Ontario Region Diabetes Association as the 2007 Volunteer of the Year for Outstanding Achievement!

Geoff Irwin, Branch Manager - Concord Electrical Supply, Division of Gerrie Electric wins GE Canada Assembly Centre Grand Prize
On April 25, 2007, GE held a reception to mark the opening of its Canadian Assembly Centre for low voltage electrical distribution products in Mississauga, Ontario.
Like many of the guests, Geoff Irwin, Branch Manager of Concord Electrical Supply, attended to learn more about the Centre and the potential opportunities for his branch and customers. And, while he was there, he dropped his business card into the fish bowl to become eligible for the grand prize draw.
Geoff is now the lucky recipient of $5,000.00 worth of GE household appliances. Congratulations Geoff!
On May 15th, GE’s Electrical Distribution team went to Concord, Ontario to officially present Geoff with his prize. On hand were Patrick Haughey, General Manager, GE Consumer & Industrial Products; Michel Roy, District Sales Manager; Shauna Boehner, Account Manager and Heather Stamenkovic, Marketing Leader.
